Jonathan Dwyer will be the Steelers' starting running back when Pittsburgh plays at Baltimore, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday.

This comes after every running back fumbled Sunday in Cleveland and the ongoing lack of production from the team's running back-by-committee approach.

"He's been consistently the most productive guy," Tomlin said. "I think we have a large enough body of work to be able to identify that at this point. Obviously, we've been working at less than ideal circumstances with the rotation and the shuffling of those guys due to health and lack of production. But over the course of the last several weeks, it's obvious that he is healthy and he is the most productive of the group."

Dwyer had two 100-yard rushing games before getting injured. He has been splitting carries with Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman since he returned.
