Broncos explode in third quarter

DENVER -- The Denver Broncos are at it again.

After being in a funk early in Sunday's game, Denver has taken control. It has scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to take a 28-10 lead over Tampa Bay.

Peyton Manning hit Demaryius Thomas for two impressive, short touchdown passes and Von Miller intercepted a Josh Freeman pass to turn a 10-7 deficit at halftime into a Denver rout with just under four minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Often this season, Denver has taken over in the second half after starting slow. The Broncos have won six straight games and they can clinch the AFC West title with a win or a San Diego loss against Cincinnati on Sunday.

I will be back with a Rapid Reaction after the game.
