Mike Mularkey will take MJD for one game

I don’t see a lot of value in Maurice Jones-Drew getting on the field Sunday in the Jaguars’ season finale at Tennessee.

He was scheduled to run Wednesday morning, and coach Mike Mularkey said the running back who's missed nine games with a foot injury rates as questionable.

Why try to get him on the field at this point?

“We’re still trying to win games,” Mularkey told Nashville reporters on a conference call. “Every one of these games, if we can find anybody that can help us win, we’re going to do it. That’s kind of been the case. This is not about evaluating younger talent and this and that, it’s never been about that. We’re evaluating these guys every day anyhow.

“It’s about trying to win the games. If we can have him for one game to help us win, we’ll take advantage of it.”

I don’t think many are expecting to see him. It’d be a big surprise for me.
