Good morning, NFC West. A trip to Phoenix for the NFL's spring owners meeting will change up the blog schedule Monday through Wednesday.
I'll be traveling Sunday morning and getting settled before joining ESPN.com teammates Kevin Seifert, Dan Graziano and John Clayton at the meeting beginning Monday.
League owners and executives will be voting on several rules changes, including one affecting the tuck rule. Media will have access to NFL head coaches, executives and select owners at various points.
First-year Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians will make his initial appearance at an owners meeting. He won't have to drive far, either. The league's rotation for these meetings includes places such as West Palm Beach, Fla., and it just so happened that Phoenix was in the mix shortly after the Cardinals hired Arians.
Head coaches get to hang out with one another in a relaxed setting. In addition to attending meetings, they usually play golf together and get some social time around the hotel pool and restaurants. Some of their wives and families hang out together as well, creating an atmosphere unique to the NFL calendar.
