Maybe Bills don't need T.O. either

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills are both proving they can win without Terrell Owens.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo got along just fine, thank you, in a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Trent Edwards has been beating the New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium with nary a completion to Owens deep into the third quarter.

Edwards has completed 9 of 15 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown to rookie tight end Shawn Nelson late in the first quarter for a lead Buffalo hasn't surrendered.

Edwards tried to get Owens involved on a third-and-5 play in the second quarter, but Owens dropped the well-placed pass for what would have been at least a 9-yard gain.
