DE Ziggy Ansah has concussion

September, 4, 2013
The Detroit Lions released the first injury report of the season Wednesday, and rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah is listed with a concussion and missed practice.

He hasn't practiced since suffering the concussion on Aug. 24, according to the Detroit Free Press. Detroit coach Jim Schwartz has continually referred to the injury report when asked before Wednesday afternoon about Ansah's injury.

Ansah's status for Sunday's game against Minnesota will be determined later in the week, but he would have to be cleared by doctors before being able to participate.

The only other name on Wednesday's injury report was safety Louis Delmas, who was limited with a knee injury.
