New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola, who was limited in practice this week with groin injury, is officially listed as doubtful for Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets. Tight end Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm) is also doubtful, according to the team’s injury report.
It would be a surprise if either player suits up. A league source told ESPN’s Ed Werder that Amendola is almost certain to miss Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets.
Elsewhere on the injury report, special teams captain Matthew Slater (knee) showed up on the injury report Wednesday. He is among eight players listed as questionable, a group that also includes running back Brandon Bolden (knee), rookie receiver Aaron Dobson (hamstring) and rookie tight end Zach Sudfeld (hamstring).
