HOUSTON -- Andre Johnson didn't practice Thursday, Texans coach Gary Kubiak said, and for now he considers the veteran receiver a game-time decision.
Johnson is working through a shin injury that he suffered Sept. 22 in the second quarter against the Baltimore Ravens. He tried to finish the game, but missed most of the second half because the injury limited him too much.
The Texans have been careful with the injury. Johnson didn't practice on Wednesday of last week and was limited last Thursday. When Johnson spoke about it Friday, he said the previous week's plan of monitoring him worked well, so they kept it.
While Kubiak called Johnson a game-time decision now, he said that could change tomorrow after Kubiak sees him go through a full practice.
Receiver Keshawn Martin also missed practice with a shoulder injury he suffered in San Francisco. Inside linebackers Tim Dobbins (hamstring) and Darryl Sharpton (foot) also missed practice with injuries, Kubiak said.
