For those who like to keep track of these things: Monday night’s game between Minnesota and Green Bay was the most-viewed television program -- sports or otherwise -- in the history of cable television. (These figures exclude breaking news events.)
The game drew a 15.3 rating had had 21.8 million viewers, according to ESPN P.R. That topped last season’s NFL game between Philadelphia and Dallas in both rating (12.9) and viewers (18.6 million.)
