IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Jason Hatcher has not partaken in a full practice on a Wednesday or Thursday since suffering a stinger on Oct. 6 against the Denver Broncos, but he has not missed a game.
“Just trying to stay away from taking a step back or banging it, because when you bang it you lose some strength in it,” Hatcher said. “It’s just one of those things. I just appreciate them taking care of me during the week, and I’ve got to go out and do my job on Sundays.”
With a defensive line that has been hit by injuries since the first day of training camp, the Cowboys can ill afford to lose Hatcher.
“It may have something to do with that, too, but it’s mostly just a stinger,” Hatcher said. “You don’t want to aggravate it. It’s about gone, so come the bye week I’ll probably be back practicing.”
