Practice report: Holmes, Cumberland sit

November, 1, 2013
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Santonio Holmes (hamstring) and Jeff Cumberland (concussion) appeared at the Jets Friday practice in their uniforms, but didn’t appear to take part in early drills with the offense during the period of time open to the media.

Neither player is expected to be ready for Sunday’s game against the Saints at MetLife Stadium.

The Jets held the final full practice indoors due to some pretty serious rain and wind circling the area.

Running back Alex Green also worked out with Cumberland with trainers near the stationary bikes.
