Practice report: Little change for Rodgers

By Rob Demovsky

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' routine at practice – at least the portion open to reporters on Wednesday – did not look much different from last week or the previous week.

During individual drills, Rodgers once again took snaps from backup center JC Tretter while Matt Flynn worked with starting center Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Rodgers continued to throw with good velocity and might have taken a few more throws than he did last Wednesday.

The session was closed to the media before any team (11-on-11) drills began.

Rodgers' collarbone was scheduled to be examined by team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie before practice. The results of that exam were not immediately known.

In another development, receiver Randall Cobb practiced for the first time since he fractured his right tibia on Oct. 13. Cobb would need to be activated off the injured reserve/designated to return list in order to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Defensive end C.J. Wilson, who has missed the past three games because of an ankle injury, also returned to practice.

Those not practicing were running back Eddie Lacy, linebacker Nick Perry, linebacker Brad Jones, tight end Brandon Bostick, linebacker Mike Neal and defensive tackle Johnny Jolly.

The full injury report will be available after practice.
