'Gruden's QB Camp' to host top prospects
By ESPN.com staff
"Monday Night Football" analyst Jon Gruden is scheduled to work with nine of this year's top quarterback prospects in the latest version of ESPN's "Gruden's QB Camp."
Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, was the first member of this year's class to visit with Gruden. Manziel's episode will debut March 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Most "QB Camp" episodes will premiere on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN beginning in late April. Shows will re-air on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNEWS leading up to the 2014 NFL draft in May. The entire "QB Camp" program schedule will be released in March.
Joining Manziel on the list of this year's campers are Blake Bortles, Tajh Boyd, Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jordan Lynch, AJ McCarron and Aaron Murray.
The popular "SportsCenter" specials featuring Gruden first gave fans an in-depth introduction to the next generation of NFL quarterbacks in 2010. Since then, the Super Bowl-winning coach has mentored 29 quarterbacks, including 14 who were regular starters in 2013. Manziel is the fifth Heisman Trophy winner to go camping with Gruden.
