No issues with Heinz Field grass
By James Walker
PITTSBURGH -- Despite the University of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati Bearcats putting up an astounding 89 points Saturday, the natural grass at Heinz Field looks good one day later.
The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) are hosting the Oakland Raiders (3-8) Sunday at 1 p.m.
Heinz Field is infamous for its poor field conditions this time of year due to inclement weather and the amount of high school and college games that are played in the stadium.
But the winter weather has been relatively mild this year. So don’t expect your typical sloppy December game in Pittsburgh today.
