Redskins are on the board
By Matt Mosley
LANDOVER, Md. -- Don't look now but the Redskins just trimmed the Giants' lead to 24-6 with an 11-yard touchdown catch by Fred Davis. The second-year tight end has been on fire since Chris Cooley suffered a season-ending injury last month. That is Davis' sixth touchdown of the season. He's become a legitimate red-zone threat for the Redskins.
In other news, former Florida State kicker Graham Gano had his extra point attempt blocked by Barry Cofield. Fans were disappointed Washington didn't try another fake like the one that ended the first half.
