McKinnie says he's a Pro Bowler
By Kevin Seifert
The NFL is scheduled to announce the 2009 Pro Bowl team Tuesday at 7 p.m., but already we’re getting wind of one NFC North player to make it.
Minnesota left tackle Bryant McKinnie said via Twitter that coach Brad Childress informed him he will be a starter on this year’s team. It’s McKinnie’s first Pro Bowl appearance in eight NFL seasons. I’ll have an analysis of the NFC North representatives tonight, but for now I’ll say McKinnie must have made the team based on his play during the first half of the season.
