Questions as Morey jumps to Seahawks
By Mike Sando
Veteran receiver Sean Morey was a special-teams mainstay for the Cardinals during coach Ken Whisenhunt's first three seasons with the team.
The Seahawks are hoping Morey can help give their special teams a needed edge and identity. Seattle, which announced Morey's signing Monday, hasn't had that type of player on special teams in recent seasons.
The question with Morey, 34, is whether his concussion problems will allow him to stay on the field for the long term. I think the Cardinals would have pushed harder to keep Morey if they thought he could continue to produce at past levels.
This is a good signing by Seattle if Morey can stay healthy.
