The J.P. Losman watch is on.
The Buffalo Bills' season might be hinging on Monday night's game against the Cleveland Browns, and quarterback Trent Edwards has given away the first quarter.
Twelve minutes into the game, the struggling Edwards already has thrown three interceptions. The first one was batted at the line of scrimmage. The other two were bad decisions.
Over his past three games and the first quarter Monday night, the second-year pro from Stanford has thrown two touchdown passes and eight interceptions. He's also has lost four of five fumbles, with the recovered ball turning into a safety.
Fortunately for the Bills, their defense has held the Browns to only two field goals.
But if Edwards continues to stumble about and Losman isn't inserted with the season on the line, then the Bills' coaching staff and front office might as well be throwing in the towel on 2008.
