Buffalo Bills receiver Lee Evans must detonate in the fourth quarter to fulfill the prediction set forth in an earlier post.
ESPN Stats & Research and stat site FootballOutsiders.com projected a monster game for Evans on Monday night against the Cleveland Browns.
Their analysis showed No. 1 receivers routinely performed well against the Browns' pass defense. The Browns had allowed an average of 84 yards a game to the opponent's primary options, and over the previous four games No. 1 receivers averaged 6.8 catches, 104.3 yards and one touchdown against the Browns.
With 22 seconds left in the third quarter, Evans hasn't caught a pass.
He entered Monday with a team-leading 37 catches for 700 yards and three touchdowns.
