Cowboys, Jamar Wall agree to terms
By Matt Mosley
Dallas Cowboys' sixth-round draft pick Jamar Wall has agreed to terms on a four-year contract, according to ESPNDallas.com's Calvin Watkins. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As the Cowboys prepare to open training camp Saturday, they still have three players to sign. Supplemental pick Josh Brent and second-rounder Sean Lee are expected to sign soon, but it's tough to predict when first-round pick Dez Bryant will show up for camp. The Cowboys spent so much time talking about his top-10 talent that Bryant might try to ask for that type of money.
I don't think the Bryant situation will drag into the preseason, but it would not surprise me if he held out for the first week of training camp. We'll keep you posted. Wall was an excellent player in the Big 12 and his best shot of making the team is on special teams.
