Scheduling twist on power rankings
By Mike Sando
The ESPN.com NFL Power Rankings file made available here each week features some interesting (to me) schedule-related considerations.
Denver, Kansas City and Arizona are the only teams with no remaining games against teams currently ranked in the top 10.
The relatively depressed status of the NFC West gives teams from the division an easier road, on paper, because they play one another. Seattle and Arizona have yet to play Carolina in a non-division game that also should improve their chances at victory.
The chart ranks teams' remaining schedules from hardest to easiest based on where teams rank currently.
