Steelers reach deal with K Shaun Suisham
By James Walker
It was an underrated hole that needed to be filled, but the Pittsburgh Steelers did it quickly.
The reigning AFC champs agreed to terms with kicker Shaun Suisham Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Suisham replaced former Steelers kicker Jeff Reed last November and made 14 of 15 field goals in the regular season. Many kickers struggle at Heinz Field, but Suisham did a solid job in limited time.
Pittsburgh has now retained two of its own free agents this offseason in Suisham and starting cornerback Ike Taylor.
