Whisenhunt on Skelton, injured lineman
By Mike Sando
SAN FRANCISCO -- Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt expressed frustration with quarterback John Skelton and admiration for his defense following a 23-7 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.
There was also disappointment after Whisenhunt learned nose tackle Dan Williams had suffered a broken arm.
Skelton "played like a rookie," Whisenhunt said, but he said the backup quarterback will remain the starter at St. Louis if Kevin Kolb remains sidelined.
