Ty Warren's deal good for everyone
By Bill Williamson
The restructured contract upon which the Denver Broncos and Ty Warren agreed Wednesday was a mutually beneficial one.
Warren, who signed with Denver last summer, has missed the past two seasons due to injury. He had long considered the proposed reduction.
Warren will be in the rotation at the defensive tackle position if he can stay healthy -- giving Denver much-needed depth. The 31-year-old knows this new deal is a win for everyone involved.
“I thought my job is to always look out for the well-being of my family, and the team’s job is to look out for the well-being of the team,” Warren told reporters in Denver. “Ultimately, we were able to find out what was most important to each side.”
