Mike Goodson out of hospital
By Bill Williamson
The Oakland Raiders sent out a statement Tuesday night, saying running back Mike Goodson passed tests, was released from the hospital and was sent back to the team’s training camp in Napa, Calif.
Goodson, the backup to Darren McFadden, was sent to the hospital in an ambulance after a helmet-to-helmet hit during Tuesday’s practice. Here is the team’s statement:
The Raiders received encouraging news Tuesday night from doctors treating Mike Goodson, who left the practice field with a neck injury, with movement in his extremities, during the team’s training-camp practice. Goodson’s CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test were negative. He has returned to the team’s training-camp headquarters at the Napa Valley Marriott.
