Good morning from Baltimore
By Jamison Hensley
BALTIMORE -- For those wondering the game plan for the AFC North blog Sunday, I will be watching the "declining" Ray Lewis and the division-leading Baltimore Ravens put their 13-game home winning streak on the line against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Ravens' offense has averaged 32.6 points in three home games this season. The reason for that impressive number of points is Baltimore's ability to use the no-huddle offense in the friendly and quiet surroundings of M&T Bank Stadium.
“What quarterback wouldn’t want to run the no-huddle or fast-paced offense?," quarterback Joe Flacco said. "Let’s be honest, it’s more fun to play quarterback when you do that. We like the pace we’re running on offense right now, but it’s a work in progress. We’ve done OK, and we’ve played pretty quick. But, we know we can play better, and we will play faster as we get into it more.”
Since I'm at the Ravens-Cowboys game, I will deliver a "Rapid Reaction" post as soon as it ends. My Sunday column will also come from this game.
Don't worry fans of the Bengals and Browns. I will give a "Wrap-up" post of the Battle of Ohio after I get done with my interviews in the Ravens locker room.
I hope everyone enjoys Sunday's games.
