Bills place TE Scott Chandler on IR
By James Walker
As expected, the Buffalo Bills have placed starting tight end Scott Chandler on injured reserve, meaning he is done for the season.
Chandler injured his knee Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins and was carted off the field. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Chandler has a torn ACL.
That means Chandler has a long rehab process ahead. The usual recovery time from ACL surgery is at least nine months, which means Chandler may not be ready until next August or September.
