Three-year glance at DE John Abraham
By Mike Sando
NFL free agency does not begin until March 12, but some veteran players have already reached the market. John Abraham is one of them, and multiple reports say he's planning to meet with the Seattle Seahawks.
Abraham, released by the Atlanta Falcons after seven seasons with the team, turns 35 in May. He has remained productive in recent seasons despite his advancing age.
The chart shows Abraham's snap counts and sack totals over the past three seasons. The numbers suggest Abraham could be a good option for the Seahawks as they seek insurance for Chris Clemons, who is rehabbing from a knee injury suffered against Washington in the NFC wild-card round.
