All signs point to Wallace going to Miami

By Jamison Hensley

If all the reports are correct -- and there are plenty of them -- wide receiver Mike Wallace will be an ex-Steeler and the newest member of the Dolphins in about 28 hours.
It's been a foregone conclusion that Wallace wouldn't be returning to the Steelers. Some believe that decision was made last summer, when the Steelers gave wide receiver Antonio Brown a six-year, $43 million extension. That happened while Wallace was holding out of training camp to protest the lack of a new deal.

The Steelers don't have any choice but to say goodbye to Wallace at this point. He's going to earn around $11 per season, and the Steelers are $3.4 million under the cap.

If Wallace does end up in Miami, he will play at Heinz Field next season. The Dolphins are one of the Steelers' home opponents in 2013. The date will be announced next month.
