The Saints are scheduled to open the regular season at home Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The official said the Saints will make a decision on the game's status after the storm has passed and local officials set a plan for residents to re-enter the city.
The Saints evacuated New Orleans on Sunday and are practicing in Indianapolis. The current plan has them practicing at Lucas Oil Field through Friday and returning to their own facility in suburban New Orleans for Saturday's practice.
