Locker Room Buzz: Cleveland Browns
By Pat McManamon
CLEVELAND -- Observed in the locker room after the Cleveland Browns' 31-17 loss to the Detroit Lions:
Taking blame: Two Browns players accepted a lot of responsibility for the second-half breakdowns. Quarterback Brandon Weeden used the word "bonehead" to describe his backhanded, underhanded flip that was intercepted late in the game. And linebacker Craig Robertson said many of the coverage issues in the second half were his fault. So, there's that.
Nothing surprising: The Browns to a man said the Lions changed little on offense in the second half, they just were better. The Browns' defenders said they prepared for the Lions' plays; they just couldn't stop them.
Stiff upper lip: Perhaps it was the three wins in a row that preceded this loss, but inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson said he's not discouraged by the loss and he still believes in his team -- and in Weeden. He said that knowing the next game is against Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.
