Injury report: James Jones still rehabbing

By Rob Demovsky

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Although the Green Bay Packers listed receiver James Jones as a limited participant in practice Thursday, he may not be any closer to playing than he was last week.

Jones has not played since he sprained his left knee Oct. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Coach Mike McCarthy said Jones spent Thursday going through rehabilitation with the other injured players while the team practiced inside the Don Hutson Center.

"Same thing he's been going through,” McCarthy said.

Last week, Jones was limited as a non-participant in practice.

The news was no better on outside linebacker Nick Perry, whose foot injury continues to be a problem. Perry, who also was injured against the Ravens, returned to practice last Friday but did not play in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. He did not practice Thursday, the first day of on-field activities in advance of Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.

"He's just not ready, not moving along as everybody would hope,” McCarthy said.

There was no update on tight end Jermichael Finley's neck injury. ESPN's Ed Werder reported Tuesday that Finley was expected to meet with doctors this week before a decision would be made on his future. Finley has been at the team facility regularly since he was released from the hospital last Thursday.
