It'll be a while before I forget the sight I witnessed Saturday night at Minnesota Vikings training camp. Here's all I can say about NFL careers: They come and they go. Rookie receiver Greg Childs is hoping to return from a catastrophic double-knee injury, but there is no known example of a player doing so in NFL history.

The Steelers have taken an offensive lineman high in the draft the past two years and they could likely do so again next week. According to our friends at ESPN Stats & Information, Pittsburgh used a league-high 25 different offensive line combinations last year.
Here's a look at the nine players who started on the offensive line for the Steelers in 2011:
Willie Colon: Right tackle (one start).
Trai Essex: Left tackle (one start), left guard (two).
Ramon Foster: Left guard (one), right guard (13).
Marcus Gilbert: Right tackle (13).
Chris Kemoeatu: Left guard (eight).
Doug Legursky: Right guard (three), left guard (five), center (two).
Maurkice Pouncey: Center (14).
Jonathan Scott: Left tackle (three), right tackle (two).
Max Starks: Left tackle (12).
