Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston.com reports that the comp picks will likely be awarded at a later date. They have traditionally been awarded during the Monday of the NFL owners meetings. Each AFC West team might be in line for a late-round pick. San Diego could potentially get two late-round picks. Currently, Kansas City has seven draft picks, while Denver, Oakland and San Diego all have six.

The Broncos insist their pre-draft interest in quarterbacks is just part of the draft process. Denver has planned private workouts with quarterbacks, Blaine Gabbert and Jake Locker.
