The game had been scheduled for 1 p.m., but now that it will determine the champion of the NFC East, NBC has elected to air it in prime time.
The Cowboys were eliminated from contention for the wild card with their loss to the Eagles on Saturday. That means the winner of next Sunday's Giants-Cowboys game will be champion of the NFC East and the loser will miss the playoffs.
The Cowboys' loss also ensured that this will be the first non-strike-shortened season ever in which the NFC East will not have at least one team with at least 10 wins.
