Jerick McKinnon, Shamar Stephen are only Vikings on injury report

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- If there's one silver lining from the Minnesota Vikings' 20-3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, it's that they came out of the game relatively healthy.

The Vikings listed just two players on their first injury report of the week on Wednesday afternoon, and only one -- running back Jerick McKinnon -- had a new injury. McKinnon was listed with an ankle injury, but was still a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Shamar Stephen, who had a knee operation in August but played 17 snaps on Monday night, was also a full participant on Wednesday.

At this point, Minnesota seems healthier than its opponent on Sunday; the Detroit Lions listed eight players on their injury report and held four key players (linebacker DeAndre Levy, wide receiver Golden Tate, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and tight end Brandon Pettigrew) out of practice on Wednesday. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was a full participant after getting drilled in the right arm during Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers.
