Caps, Pens to honor Lokomotiv team
When the Capitals and Penguins face off Thursday night, there will be an underlying theme that will be much more important than any on-ice rivalry.
The teams will wear special patches to honor Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, the team that was lost in a Sept. 7 plane crash in Russia.
The game-worn jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off on the NHL's website, with all proceeds benefiting the Lokomotiv team's families.
You can find out more information about the auction here.
