* Kings: 7 straight road wins to start the 2012 playoffs; From Elias: that ties the record to start a playoff year, also held by the 1999 Avalanche and 1980 Islanders
* Jonathan Quick: 9 straight road win in the playoffs; From Elias: that is one game short of the NHL record, set by Islanders' Billy Smith from 1979-80
* Kings: allowed 2 or fewer goals in 10 of 11 playoff games this year
* The Kings are now 10-1 this postseason. That is tied for the best start to a Stanley Cup playoffs since 1980. Of the previous 4 teams to do it however, only the 1988 Oilers went on to win the Stanley Cup.
