- Calgary Flames defenseman Jay Bouwmeester is going to Ghana in support of Right To Play, according to the Calgary Herald.
- Dan Cleary attended CBA talks in New York on Tuesday to represent the Red Wings and add a veteran presence to the talks, but said he does not expect there to be much urgency in the talks until it is closer to the start of the 2012-13 season, according to the Detroit Free Press.
