The Red Wings are in talks with the Flames about acquiring veteran defenseman Jay Bouwmeester, a source told mlive.com.
The city of Glendale projects that, while it would lose money whether or not the Coyotes stay in Phoenix, they would save $3.5 million a year if the team stays at Jobing.com Arena, according to the Arizona Republic.
Taylor Hall said he feels better than he has in years and is excited about playing hockey again, according to the Edmonton Sun.
Predators forward Colin Wilson says that experience has made him a much more consistent player and he will reward the faith Nashville has had in him, according to The Tennessean.
Phase II of Madison Square Garden's renovation is underway with the famous arena getting an upgrade to its suites and the upper seating bowl, according to Newsday.
