Stars 6, Ducks 3
* Stars: score 5 goals in 3rd period (game tied 1-1 after 2 period)
* Antoine Roussel (DAL): 1st career 2-goal game (had 9 goals in 61 career NHL games entering Tuesday)
* Stars: snap 2-game losing streak; 1st win in last 5 home games (1-2-2)
* Ducks: 2nd time allowing 6 goals in a game this season (other instance was in season opener at Avalanche Oct. 2)
FROM ELIAS SPORTS BUREAU: Cody Eakin, Stephane Robidas and Ryan Garbutt scored goals for the Stars within a 53-second span of the third period to help Dallas overcome a 2–1 deficit and beat the Ducks, 6–3. It was the second-fastest three-goal outburst for the Stars since the franchise relocated to Texas from Minnesota in 1993, behind the three goals in 44 seconds that Kevin Hatcher, Mike Modano and Guy Carbonneau scored as Dallas came from 5–3 down in the final minute of the third period to beat the Bruins, 6–5, on Oct. 14, 1995.
Before Tuesday, the last time any NHL team scored three goals in 53 or fewer seconds in one game was on Jan. 4, 2012, when Montreal’s Lars Eller scored two goals in 50 seconds sandwiched around a goal by teammate Mike Cammalleri in the third period of a 7–3 Canadiens win against the Jets.
