FROM ELIAS: Sidney Crosby scored to break a 1–1 tie with just over six minutes remaining in the third period, and that goal was the game-winner for the Penguins in their 3–1 victory against the Maple Leafs. Crosby has scored 19 goals this season, including a league-leading 10 third-period goals. He's also tallied once in overtime. Crosby scored 15 times (in 36 games) last season, but only five of his goals came in third periods (and none in OT).
