Penguins at Rangers, 7:30 ET (Penguins lead series 2-1)
* Jussi Jokinen (PIT): on 7-game point streak (4 G, 3 A during streak); tied for 2nd-longest point streak during 2014 playoffs
* Marc-Andre Fleury (PIT): recorded shutouts in last 2 games; postseason record for consecutive shutouts is 3, done 7 times (last time: Ilya Bryzgalov ANA in 2006)
* Rangers: have been shut out twice in a playoff series for 1st time since 2009 conference quartefinals vs Capitals and shut out in consecutive playoff games for 1st time 1937 Stanley Cup finals vs Red Wings – Rangers have never been shut out 3 times in a playoff series (either consecutively or in total)
* Rangers: 0-34 on power play since Benoit Pouliot's power-play goal in Game 2 of first round series vs Flyers (0-4 remainder of that game, 0-30 in last 8 games); last among remaining teams in power-play percentage in 2014 playoffs (3-42, 7.1 pct, 15th overall in postseason)

Not So Powerful: The Rangers look to even their series with Pittsburgh Wednesday night, but shouldn't rely on their power play. New York is 0-for-30 on the power play over the last eight games. According to Elias, that's one shy of the longest power-play goal drought in one playoff year in the modern era (since 1943–44). Toronto had a nine-game streak in 2000 and Boston matched it in 2011.
