The Detroit Red Wings have scheduled a noon ET conference call Tuesday with GM Ken Holland and goaltender Chris Osgood.
There was no immediate word on what will be discussed, but Osgood's future has been debated in recent months. Osgood has expressed interest in playing another season, but his health has been a concern.
Despite reaching 400 career wins this past season, the 38-year-old Osgood played in only 11 games because of nagging groin injuries and surgery for a sports hernia issue. According to a report from The Detroit News and MLive.com, Holland and Osgood supposedly met this past weekend.
