David Booth, Roberto Luongo exit in pain
Vancouver forward David Booth was helped off the ice after a knee-on-knee collision with Colorado forward Kevin Porter on Tuesday night.
Booth remained on the ice throughout a television timeout and did not put any weight on his right leg as Kevin Bieksa and Henrik Sedin helped him off the ice. Booth then hopped to the locker room on his left leg.
Porter was given a five-minute major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct.
Roberto Luongo, playing in his second game since suffering an upper-body injury on Nov. 13, was hit in the throat by the puck in the second period on a slap shot by Gabriel Landeskog.
Luongo remained on the ice for a couple of minutes before leaving the game.
Cory Schneider stayed in net for the Canucks the rest of the game, but Luongo returned to the bench in the third period.
The Canucks easily defeated the Avs 6-0.
