An unspecified illness kept former North Carolina forward John Henson from making his rookie debut with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas on Monday night. Meanwhile, former teammate Kendall Marshall -- whose broken wrist during the NCAA tournament last March fractured UNC's chances of making it to the Final Four -- is expected to be back on the court Tuesday after signing his contract with the Phoenix Suns.
If you have a hankering to watch some hoops with a UNC twist, other Tar Heels participating in the Summer League include:
Forward Harrison Barnes -- averaging 18 points and 4.5 rebounds (in two games) for Golden State.
Forward Ed Davis -- averaging 18.7 points (in three games) for Toronto.
Forward Justin Knox -- averaged 6.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in five games during the Orlando portion of the summer league for the Utah Jazz.
Forward Deon Thompson -- recorded seven points and three rebounds in one game for the Grizzlies.
Forward Tyler Zeller -- averaging 16 points and six rebounds (in two games) for Cleveland.
