Luke is No. 22 for Irish's 2013 class

Notre Dame's 2013 recruiting class added another big piece Thursday, just five days after the Irish's biggest on-field victory in at least a decade.

Four-star cornerback Cole Luke (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) chose the Irish over Oklahoma and Texas after taking in Notre Dame's 30-13 win at Owen Field. Our Erik McKinney has more on Luke here and here.

Like Notre Dame, Luke's current team is on an eight-game winning streak, and the 6-foot, 185-pounder has been a two-way standout for a Hamilton team that had started the season 0-3.

The commitments of Luke and ESPN 300 corner Devin Butler (Washington, D.C./Gonzaga College) give the Irish a pair of talented 2013 cornerbacks, an area the team lacks depth in.

Here is a breakdown of the Irish's 22-man 2013 recruiting class, which features 18 four-star prospects, six ESPN150 commits (*) and 12 ESPN300 commits (**)
