ND tops rankings; Te'o 2nd in Heisman

Notre Dame is the top team in this week's ESPN.com power rankings, to the surprise of no one. The Irish are one of two unbeaten teams, though the other, Ohio State, is ineligible for postseason play. The Buckeyes rank third, trailing Alabama.

Manti Te'o, meanwhile, jumped two spots and is back up to No. 2 on Heisman Watch, trailing Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel.

Colleagues Mark Schlabach and Brad Edwards both have the Irish going to the national title game, though against different opponents. Schlabach picks Georgia to go to Miami, while Edwards likes Alabama. The Bulldogs and Tide will face each other in two weeks in an SEC title game that will likely serve as a play-in contest for a BCS national title game berth.

As always, here are my ballots, which, again, are unofficial.
