Four straight wins, including a 59-point explosion in Saturday's rout of Air Force, were not enough for Notre Dame to crack the national rankings this week.

The Fighting Irish received 64 votes in the AP poll, good for 28th-most. They received 31 votes in the USA Today poll, 30th-most.

Texas A&M and Auburn are the only ranked two-loss teams in the AP poll, coming in at Nos. 21 and 24, respectively. The Aggies were the only ranked two-loss team in the USA Today poll, at No. 23.
