Eight from ND on Senior Bowl watch list

August, 20, 2013
Eight Notre Dame players are among the 400 names appearing on the watch list for the Senior Bowl, which was released Tuesday.

Bennett Jackson, Carlo Calabrese, Chris Watt, Dan Fox, Prince Shembo, T.J. Jones, Tommy Rees and Zack Martin made the list for the Jan. 25, 2014 game, which consists of a 110-man roster.

Alabama leads all schools with 10 players on the watch list.

Players not on the watch list can be added to the in-season lists and still make the game.

Former Irish center Braxston Cave played in the game last year.

The game is played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

And, before you ask, Stephon Tuitt is not a junior. And, technically, Louis Nix has a year of eligibility left after this season, too. So that explains those two names not being on the list.
